When can I order?

You can order every day. Choose your NY cookies, loaded minis and brookies, or a personalised gift. Pick your date in the bag, then choose delivery or collection at checkout.

How do I build my Scandal box?

Mix your favourite NY cookies, loaded minis and brookies, with a minimum of 4 treats. Matching sauce pipettes are available for selected cookies. Brookie tins can be selected individually and are chosen separately from the other treats.

How does UK delivery work?

UK orders are sent with Royal Mail Tracked 24. Your bag shows the Royal Mail dispatch date — the day your parcel leaves us, not the guaranteed arrival date. If your selected date falls on Sunday, the bag shows the next available dispatch date instead. Select Shipping & Handling at checkout for Royal Mail. Shipping charges and qualifying free shipping are shown at checkout.

Do you offer local delivery?

Local delivery is available for eligible TS17 and TS23 postcodes. Pick your date in the bag, then enter your address and select Local delivery at checkout if it is available. Collection is not home delivery.

Where do I collect my order?

Collection is from Al Forno, Ingleby Barwick. Pick your date in the bag, then select COLLECTION AT AL FORNO — FREE at checkout. You will need to collect your order in person.

Can I order a personalised gift?

Yes. Choose an Individual Gift Box or Personalised Gift Box of 3, pick the flavours and add a message. Personalised gift boxes are collection only.

How big are the regular cookies?

Our New York cookies are thick, generously filled dessert cookies. Loaded minis are a smaller treat. Brookie bars, muffins and tins are separate products; check the product details for the format you are choosing.

How should I store the cookies?

Keep your cookies sealed in an airtight container in a cool place, away from direct sunlight. Follow the storage and best-before guidance supplied with your order, as fillings and toppings vary.

How do I warm them?

Enjoy your cookie as it is or gently warmed. Remove all packaging, decorations that are not edible and any sauce pipette first. Use a microwave-safe plate, warm in short bursts and follow the care instructions with your order.

Can I freeze them?

Check the care instructions supplied with your order for the specific flavour. Contact us if you are planning to freeze your treats and need advice before ordering.

What if I have a food allergy?

Read the ingredients and allergen details for every selected flavour before ordering. Our kitchen handles wheat, milk, eggs, soya, peanuts and tree nuts, so products may not be suitable for severe allergies.

Can I order for an event or business?

Yes. For larger celebrations or wholesale enquiries, use the Contact or Wholesale page. Around one week’s notice is ideal, and we’ll always confirm what is possible.

What if something is wrong with my order?

Because cookies are handmade perishable food, returns cannot normally be accepted. If anything arrives incorrect or damaged, contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photographs so we can investigate.

Do you make gluten-free cookies?

We do not currently offer gluten-free cookies. Please check each product’s ingredients and allergen information and contact us before ordering if you have a dietary requirement.
